Primary Scoring: Objectives
At the start of the game each player places 1 objective in their deployment zone. This objective must be placed in the center of their deployment zone. An additional objective is placed in the exact center of the board. The objectives award points to the player controlling them at the end of the game as per the following conditions:
Covert Missions: Secondary points
Each player will randomly draw a covert mission at the start of the game. These missions offer additional tasks that the players can try to complete for extra points. These missions can be kept secret or the players can elect to scheme and make deals with other players to complete their objectives. Be careful of whom you make deals with, for each player is ultimately out to win the game as well.. Each covert mission is worth 3 bonus points
Darwin Awards: Bonus points
Bonus points will be awarded at the end of each game for ignoble deeds that you may wish have never happened. These will be announced the night of the event.
Modified First Blood:
At the end of turn 3, each player totals the number of Kill Points that they were responsible for removing the last model or HP. The player with the highest KP total gains 3 bonus points.
At the end of each game add the total points awarded for the primary objectives held and bonus points earned by covert missions and/or darwin awards. These will be added to the score of each player from previous rounds for a grand total at the end of the night. All players begin with an initial score of 0.
This event will have a sign-up sheet at the store. Pay in advance at the register and there will be a signup sheet on the computer. Save your receipt and bring it with you the night of the event. Millennium Games has made a deal that anyone who attends the July 6th monthly 40k tournament will have $5 removed from the lock-in entry fee. We will start off with 16 spots. If there are more than 16 signups then we will put you on a waiting list until we reach 20 signups. This is done to keep the proper number of players.
Also, to ensure that you do not play versus the same people that night you will not get matched up via battle points, table assignments will be done in advance.

- Games will be played on a table that forms a 6' x 6' “plus sign” (Think red cross symbol, see diagram below)
- Terrain placement will be random. There will be 12 pieces on the Each player will deploy 3 pieces but at least 1 must go into their deployment zone. No one may place any terrain within 6 inches of the center objective.
- Each player will deploy in a 48 inch wide by 10 inch deep deployment zone.
- 4 players will play on each table at a time, rounds will be 5 turns long.
- Each player MUST deploy AT LEAST 700 points worth of their army BEFORE the start of turn 1.
- Outflanking units rolls will be modified. A roll of a 1-2 means you deploy on the side to your left, a 3-4 means you deploy on the side to your right, a 5-6 means you can come in on any board side, including the player whose deployment zone is opposite of yours.
- At the beginning of the game, before deployment, each player chooses a card numbered between 1 and 4. The player who chose the “1” card gets to pick a deployment zone and place their fortifications (if any). Then player 2 does the same, etc... After all players have selected their deployment zone and placed fortifications, each player then selects a piece of terrain and places it in their deployment zone. After each player has finished putting a piece in their dp zones, they then in turn each place terrain anywhere on the board until all terrain is deployed but remember, no terrain may be placed within 6 inches of the center objective.
- After terrain had been placed, place objectives per the objectives deployment (see Primary Objectives below).
- Next, roll for Warlord traits and psychic powers as per the rule book.
- After deployment zones have been selected and the terrain/objectives placed, reshuffle the cards and deal them out to each player. This will determine the deployment order and turn order for the first turn.
- At the end of each turn (after all for players have had their turn), the cards will be shuffled and dealt out to determine the order of play for the following turn.
