Working on finishing model assembly and want to practice the list once or twice before Saturday's event.
Who: Looking for one opponent willing to travel to my place (Irondequoit)
What: 1-2 1250pt highlander games depending on time
Where: the hyv3cave (my place either 390n or 590n almost to the lake)
When: Friday 3/13 7pm - 11pm

Yeah I should prolly accept. Necrons are my least favorite army to face so it would be a good personal challenge. Haven't faced the new book yet and you beat me last time we played so it should be a tough fight.

I have not actually played with the new book yet, but I've played against it a couple times... They actually feel like terminators from the movie, except with less kill-y guns.

Yeah for sure, just wish I could practice the army before go time. The army will be grey plastic but that'll give other folks a shot at placing muahaha!
Also if Nogle and Craig are down, I'd gladly take challenges during the primer as if it were the main event.

was talking to Koszka, he said a bunch of people were asking for straight battle points since we are so far out of the event that painting is kinda a pipe dream for most players 5 months before the real event

I'd love pure battle points.
The highlander announcement was 2 weeks ago. Aside from 2-3 people who play highlander by choice, most people will be buying, assembling, and painting to make legal highlander armies.
If you go pure battle points for the primer, make it official and post it on every forum and Facebook group. I bet you'll get a big jump in attendance from guys that would choose to stay home rather than lose 30% to painting scoring.
