Congrats Cory, Craig, and Scott. Those finishes are impressive in such a cutthroat format.
Who scored highest on the rules portion of the quiz? They're my new hero. And next month when everyone starts asking me questions I'm pointing to you.

I'll tabulate who scored the highest on the rules portion and who scored the highest on the fluff questions tonight and post those results. I know I did much better on the fluff portion myself.

Damn, that test is a lot more challenging then I expected. I only got 5 right, 4 of them I knee r for sure the 5th was a half guess. I wonder how I would have faired with fluff.
@ grubnards when will you be going to millennium or boldos again with your eldar? I would totally like to see your aegis defense line conversion if you don't mind.

Thanks for the link hyv3mynd and I will see you there grubnards, that is such am awesome modeling you did, I did not even realize at first it was original. I thought it was the basic aegis line with green stuff on it. Is it actually legal to use in gt's? I ask because I know in a regular defense line my wraith knight can see over most of the height of a defense line but on the end of yours it seems taller than model height. The way I learned to play with defense lines is just being behind one doesn't automatically give the cover save because its not area terrain. I play at 3 different places that seem to operate way differently from each other and sometimes the rule to things can be generalized and others you need to pay attention to every single word that is common, like the +1 to a cover save based on obscurity for vehicles with front and side view or w/e, but anyways. I know when it comes to the defense line that Almost everything on ground level shooting behind one grants the save but depending on the height of the shooter i.e. tall model, third floor of ruins or tall hill/rocks you can see over the defense line and a model or unit won't/can't receive the save and if it is a legal modeling and does not grant a way to increase the chance of obscurity, I am totally going to copy your idea, if you don't mind. P.S. I couldn't just green stuff to modify an existing defense line? Or do you just recommend doing the full dedication job you chose? I just want to know if I can take the easy way out and how much would that clay cost and where did you get it from?

I dont think he's used it in the GT yet as he played fantasy in last years but im 95% sure there would be no problem of course if you do make something original it would always be best to email pics for approval as suggested on the GT website

I have not had any tournament organizers object to it yet. I made sure that each section was the same exact measurements as the GW aegis line so there should never be any concern of modeling for advantage.
