The first bit conversion! An Omnissian Warsythe!  For my Magos Dominus I've taken the newish plastic Necron Overlord clampack and pieced him into the Dominus kit. |

Work in progress of the Magos Dominus! Detailing and assembly is done, still need to highlight, finish, and base. Likely doing a large base order from Dragonforge in December if anybody else wants to get in on that.   |

Looks great dude. Glad others are posting hobby projects here.
I'd recommend a black wash on the cables and armor bits to add depth and contrast. Some lens effects on the eyes also, and maybe white or light blue highlights on the ribs of the gun.

Thanks! There actually is a black wash on all the metal bits, plus drybrushing... I just need to figure out how to take better pictures  How would one go about a lens flare? |

Heck, my hope is to have the whole shebang done by the end of April for adepticon. Might start using the dominus and a unit or two of Destroyers in the January or February tournament as an allies Detachment or something.
Realistic? ... might not all be completely finished...

Have you thought about the list for adepticon?
Also, is your cult about necron tech? If so, maybe kit bash a few kataphrons with the cron destroyer kits. floating gun torsos could be a refreshing way to break up your army.

Oh god, adepticon is a whole month earlier than I thought it was...
Actually a conversion I had thought about, and might do for the second, more necron section of the army. I really wanted to paint the tank section of the Destroyers though ^.^
I believe the list I have over on the theory section is adepticon ready, actually got a test game with it in on Tuesday! I will check adepticon rules again though.

You could pull a Koszka and just kit bash on kit of kataphrons with one kit of destroyers. Have 3 be floating bodies with servitor torsos and have 3 be tracked with destroyer torsos.

Ooo, that would be pretty awesome! I have an inordinate amount of space marine bits, plus sets of the old metal vostroyan or last chancer models if you'd be interested in swapping?
