For the Team Tournament, I predict a flawless performance by whoever is paired with my half of the team (with one exception). A 0 win performance by Garner's half, and when we are paired up a draw. Wow. What did I do to deserve this?! I hope this is about my dice, but I don't have to roll them! I believe in my partners in crime. I think that we will do 50-50. This is 100% a statement on your horrible dice and in no way related to strategy or tactics. My favorite is that time you killed 9 Pink Horrors with your Harlequin troops and the incoming S2 hits from the Blue Horrors wiped your squad in response!

All of this juvenile shit-talking is cute and all but please let a man give his prediction and show you newbz how the challenge section works,
I make it to day 2 and win it all with a real tyranid players lictor shame adaptation. After destroying niels battle score like its daboyz.
Then after out drinking everyone Friday night after much celebration of me once again taking it to kopach in the final round, we start on the team tourney.
We make it to the team showcase, win team theme, and land a top 20 battlescore finishing way ahead of everyone else in the field.
After eating dinner from niel to celebrate my Winning bet we drink till we puke, then I eat my dinner from John and repeat.
But in all honesty guys, I'm looking forward to the event and spending time with my friends.

I have stayed away from Adepticon for years due to a lot of questionable things I have seen in the past. I have seen a lot of favoritism for the local guys or big names especially when a rules judge comes around. Every year there seems to be some drama unfold and it happened again this year with Aaron Aelong. What was y'all's overall impression this year? Have things gotten better?

The 40k Champs were a mess. The scenarios were horrible and strongly favored tabling tactics. 3/4 progressive objectives were worth points equal to the turn number. Each objective end of game was worth a hefty amount, thus progressive objectives held on turn 5 + end game holding trumps anyone who held progressive turns 2-4.
They also had a mission with double kill points, making tertiary victory points pretty much worthless. For example, in my game I had 14 progressive VP's + 12 KP and 4 tertiary points (Took 8 wounds off of wraith knights).
My opponent had 6 Progressive VP's + 28 KP's + 2 Tertiary points
I keep telling myself that I'm gonna stop playing in the champs, but keep coming back for the abuse. And yeah, the 40k champs is a total country club. There were a lot of favorable rulings both before and during games.

Every year there seems to be some drama unfold and it happened again this year with Aaron Aelong. What was y'all's overall impression this year? Have things gotten better? Thankfully, there are dozens and dozens of other gaming events at Adepticon! All with a lot of fanfare and no drama. I saw whole rooms full of wargamers playing games I've never even HEARD of (wtf is SAGA?), and I play a lot of games.

So many games! I liked all of the build and play events that were happening. Made me wish I got involved in that Dark Age event. I hear Chris P. got a pretty good deal
