Sinister Mind and myself are pairing up for the Da Boyz GT Team event under the team name of "Just Here for Beer." So if you and your team mate have a set of stones between ya we are looking for and accepting any challenges using the GT format as outlined on the GT website daboyzgt.com/40k-doubles/ between now and the weekend prior to the GT. So if anyone feels lucky enough to take on this dynamic duo please feel free to PM us with a challenge. We are open to playing at any venue such as Millennium Games or at someone's residence. Weekends are preferable but we will consider other dates depending on our work schedules. If you are not attending the team event but still want to challenge us using the GT format then we are down with that as well.  |

That's a great signature image. I am trying to ask a friend to play with me against you guys he plays CSM or Dark Eldar I hope he says yes I am aiming for this Saturday. I hope he replies back soon he is busy lately with college and hockey league.

Well I know you guys didn't play at millennium today I went there around 130ish and they were packed with card floppers. The tables were set up outside of the room to in front of the bathroom it was the first time I seen millennium like that.

Just Here for Beer ventured out to the hyv3cave this weekend for some team practice.  Game 1 was quickly decided when we gave them first deployment then seized on them. Wraithknights were able to ID a riptide on the first turn as well as exploding a fire prism. It was all downhill from there but it left us with time for a second game.  We set up again giving them first turn but not seizing this time.  We survived the first turn but the turn 2 beta strike caused serious casualties including a serpent and 4 wraithguard.  We pussy footed around trying to minimalize casualties and snipe out key units. Man, broadsides with twin linked everything ignoring cover with tank hunters are nasty!  We were able to take out the riptide again, but lost the center due to their superior firepower and bladestorms.  We were able to grab the relic with two surviving bikes at the bottom of 5 and let sinistermind roll... A 2! Game ended luckily because if it had continued they would have gunned down our bikes. Very fun games and good practice for the doubles event. Thanks for the games guys! |
