I was planning to be in town again - a rare occurrence to be there twice in a month with the option to play. I was wondering if anyone had time for a game on the 28/29
I would prefer 1850, but I am open to pretty much any point level. I plan to bring some close variant of my Da Boyz GT list. Let me know if anyone can meetup - I was thinking earlier in the day would be better.

Are you talking about playing at millennIum? That was my plan, but I am flexible is someone has a warhammer cave that they would prefer to use.

Unfortunately I am not that fortunate to have my own gaming cave. I have space just no proper table or terrain. Let me see about something and maybe I can game with you on Saturday after 12:30

Being unfortunately fortunate is tough. Sounds good, keep me posted. At the least I plan to stop by the store for a few hours, I can bring some paints and see if I can grab a pickup game.
It is just easier to have one scheduled.

Yeah you are right, you do need to have it scheduled. I tried a few times showing up there randomly and no one is there for any miniature game. I got news though. You want to meet there at 1230 1245? Saturday still.

Hey just wanted to let you know I might arrive late. I have prior commitments plus a new one that popped up 4 hours ago that I am going to try to handle. So if you don't see me I will eventually be there and if you get there and you see someone else you want to play you don't have to wait for me. I should be on time though.

No problem - any idea on how late? I actually have the wife out with her mother, so I was going to be pressing to get there right at 12:30. In the future I should remember to swap e-mails/phone numbers in case something like this comes up.

Yeah, luckily I was 2 minutes late lol.
That was an awesome game. Yeah I lost, what a surprise.
You are a great and fun player. First game in a long time where there were no rules debates or arguments. Yeah I had questions and some confusion about some things, but you knew exactly where to find it and how to explain it right. I learned the most out of that game and it was really fun. I definitely need to buy another unit or 2 and paint my stuff.
In my opinion Wraithknight's are not good against demons. Yeah it was my first 1v1 but in the team games I faced demons my Wraithknight gets decapitated or gets his soul grinded haha

I agree on your synopsis of Wraithknights against Daemons - but that is a general theme of units that have a low number of high strength attacks. I will provide the caveat that against Daemon Princes they are awesome since they can Instant Death those 250+ point models.
It was great to get a game in against the Eldar - and after you stole the initiative Turn 1 and blasted away a few units in one go I was pretty worried about where this game was going to go.
In my experience a lot of rules disputes can be resolved by first seeing if it even matters and second by both people just being chill about it. For example, random allocation is a #$%^@, which means some shortcuts are needed to not make it terrible.
The Flesh Hounds were definitely the star of the game with the Khorne Herald being a close second.

Lol in a team game against demons my wraithknight got decapitated by blood thirster, yeah I am a noob in most games I just move stuff and roll dice.
My past 3 games I have had I been picking up a little more strategy, that game with you calypso taught me a lot in general and especially about demons. It's obvious right now with how vehicles can be wrecked easy that wave serpents with optimal upgrades make them durable. So Mechdar in my opinion is the best way to run pure Eldar.
I need to get more games in against demons and against other Eldar players too. I only faced a dark Eldar with eldar allies which is not the same thing.
Also calypso my stealing the initiative and the killing I did, made me look awesome but you are a much better player then me and the way you played your list was well and resulted in your win in the end. I just made myself look less obliterated than I was haha.
