Hay everyone I've been thinking we should put together a list of gts we would go to make a circuit out of it and then if others are going or thinking about going they might be able to get a group together or make a team and we can list the events we know of and make a circuit of the best ones so we know where to go year to year the main ones I know of are nova in Virginia , adepticon in Chicago , war games con in Austen TX I think , and Bay Area open in California , daboyz in rochester ny , the atc in nashville TN and warmaster challenge in Kitchener ON Canada . For fantasy we can throw in cross roads down in horse heads NY I believe everyone who gos to that enjoys it

I believe we're in negotiations to have a small 40k event added to Crossroads GT (Horseheads NY) in September. Stay tuned for updates. My GT bucket list is dictated by cost and ease of travel, and I probably won't be able to do anything but DaBoyz GT and Crossroads this year. Looking ahead, here's where I'd like to go: 1. Warmaster's Challenge - Kitchener, Ontario. These guys have supported DaBoyz GT for ages so we should return the support IMO. Plus, it's close. 2. Battle For Salvation GT - White Plains, NY. Not a huge event capped around 64, but closer than most and it draws a lot of high profile gamers and bloggers. 3. American Team Championship - Chattanooga, TN. I went to this with Jay, Shaun, and Courtney in 2011 and it was a blast. At the end of the day, I enjoy team events more than singles and it was a lot of fun fighting alongside these guys instead of against them for once. If we could arrange 5 (reliable) players for the trip, this would be my #1 priority based on fun factor. 4. Adepticon - Chicago, IL. 'Nuff said. I've never been but I think it needs to happen eventually. The caliber of painters and players has me convinced I'd never place in the competitive or hobby field, but I'd like to try it once just to say I did it. Planning wise, this one is tough for me. If it falls before Easter, I cannot go. 5. NOVA - DC/Virginia area. I've never built or played a "NOVA" style competitive list, but I feel like if I really applied myself and designed a list specifically for their format and terrain, and spent my time on painting, I could have a shot at the Renaissance Man track. 6. - Media, PA. I know Mikhalia on Dakka is always posting events for Media, PA which receive strong reviews and support. My sister lives here so it would be a natural choice. About 6hrs drive which isn't bad and beats flying. 7. PTGRTS GT - Syracuse, NY July 20th. Not a "true" GT but I do believe they play 5 rounds in one day. We went to this store for their April event and they seemed interested in bringing in as many people as possible for their GT. I'll gladly go to this if even one person will ride with me. Like I said above, I prefer team events as they just end up being more fun to me than singles. But, I'll travel to singles GTs if we get a group together for a road trip.

There is also an event that Chris P and the horsehead guys go to down in/near Jersey. I think it is both 40k and Fanatsy.
Chris, can you confirm or add more details?
This is one that I've wanted to attend for some time. Not a bad car ride and sounds like it grows each year.

We've gone down for the Colonial GT a couple of years in a row, but this year they did something boneheaded. They moved the date from March/April to November. From a light GT season to a packed one that usually overlaps with Da Boyz.
There's also The Conflict GT, but their game has been terrible the last few times I went.

This is a crazy year for me already and it's only May, Landed a huge job opportunity so it'll take me the remainder of the year to accrue vacation time/sick days so as far as GT's go I'm looking at Da Boyz and Maybe crossroads if I can Paint my brets in time. Next year I fully intend on going to Adepticon as long as I can find a team and carpool or flight mates, I would even be willing to thanks to my spiffy new job design/prepare at themed 1k (how big are each team members forces?) army for a whole themed army for the team tourney. I would also really like to be part of a team going to the ATC's!!

Here's a partial list of stuff relatively close to use. Feel free to copy and paste to add more.
May 25th&26 – Unplugged GT in Hartford CT - Fantasy
June 29th – ParkHammer in Watkins Glen
July Empty - Here's a thought. Corey and I have been talking about a GT down here. Right Now, it doesn't look like we're gonna be able to add 40K to crossroads because crossroads is growing so much. He already has 120players reserved for the september event, and it's only been a few weeks of word of mouth. We could do a July 40K event. Because it's short notice, we probably won't do one this year.
Aug 29th – NOVA Open in Arlington VA – 40K & Fantasy
Sept 21st – Warmaster’s Challenge in Waterloo ON – 40K Only 27-29th – Crossroads Fantasy (maybe 40K, maybe not)
Oct 6th – Beakycon in Tampa – 40K 11th-13th – Battle for Salvation in White Plains NY – 40K only
Nov 9th&10th 11th Company GT – Myrtle Beach, SC – 40K Da Boyz
