So just like Hyv3, I started preparing my Tzeentch sorcerer model for the ParkHammer contest. Here is the model with the primary work done. I cut off the long sword and swapped it out for a Dark Elves dagger so that it would not cover the model's face as much as the original sword. Secondly, I cut the third arm off and then repositioned it to that it will appear away from the body and over the staff. I then pinned and green-stuffed the arm so that the arm will hold up to use. Next I took a left over necromancer head from the corpse cart and shaved off the facial features, just leaving the hair. This looked like a fireball so I glued it on the third arm to make it look like the sorcerer is conjuring a spell. Next step is to prime and start painting.

Nice conversions so far. I think we're going to have a nice variety of finished models between conversions, paint techniques, and color schemes.

Here is a quick update of what I was able to do in the past week. I base coated the flesh areas with Khermi Brown and then applied multiple layers of 75% white / 25% Khermi Brown over that. Then I gave it a good dose with the brown wash. After the wash dried I highlighted the main surface areas with the white/brown mixture. Next I started working on the fireball in the sorcerers hand. I used about three different shades of blue plus a blue wash highlighted with white. Still need to clean up some of the edges but pretty happy with how it turned out. Here are all of the components. Next I will be adding "leopard spotting" to the thighs, upper arms, and head to give it a sinister look. Then I'll add more highlights to the flesh before I move on to the armor.
