So with Apocalypse coming out I've been inspired to work on my Eldar again. I'm about 90% done with my Wraithkight, I've got to finish up the secondary weapons, finish up the base and some hard edging. I hope to start putting a dent in the huge pile of forgeworld I have for my Eldar now. Any way here are some pics

I agree with sinister, the gems look fantastic, as does the rest of the model. Have you picked up the new apocalypse book yet and if so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks guys! My only gripe is the base looks pretty bland since its so big. I still have to add static grass but I might have to commission Kevin add some rock formations on the base similar to the flying bases he did for my grav tanks. I agree with sinister, the gems look fantastic, as does the rest of the model. Have you picked up the new apocalypse book yet and if so, what are your thoughts? Not yet, unfortunately Travis didn't get his GW order in this past weekend, hopefully I can pick up this weekend.

The gems look awesome, the black seems a bit flat though. I have had some success using the a dark grey as a drybrush over the surfaces to give them a bit of depth on my crushers - I think it is the old Shadow Grey from GW. Just a thought.
I am craving that new apoc book, but first I have 20 flesh hounds to paint.
