If they don't hurry up, Other area gaming stores could start picking up the slack! That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Look at the xwing schedule for February, I could go to an event every weekend this month and most of next month. Having more venues run 40k provides more flexibility to your schedule and more opportunities for different formats. For many years, Millennium was the only store around the area that had a regular schedule, and for awhile it was viable to keep it on a monthly basis. But this past year was horrible. On 2 occasions I ran it for smitty and attendance was bad. In fact, if it were not for beef and wing showing up each month, most events probably would have been cancelled. Facts are this area just doesn't have much interest in the game right now. Maybe going quarterly will help draw more interest locally, we will see. I see that the event at pair o dice drew 12 last weekend, with 4-5 of that number frequent millennium events as well. My guess is that the other players would only ever play in their store. Same with xwing, magic, etc... Not everyone is willing to support other stores. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the coming year.

Let me rephrase 1 part of my above post before I get blasted. This area does not appear to have much interest in a tournament format of 40k anymore. I

Yea its a shame, I hope it picks back up, I know with my schedule change I'll be supporting any store that runs 40k events. And I'm going to try and make MG xwing too
