Hopefully some you guys can join me this year and see how we can do.
last year I hit 4/8. The misses were 2 about buying from FW, 1 about rebasing models and 1 for photographing minatures. I'm going to go for more and hope to beat my 50% from last year
1) Rebase all World Eaters (to 32mm and with new basing scheme)
2) Photograph all World Eaters
3) Photograph all Ogres
4) Finish all Ogres (less than 12) and buy and paint 3 yeti
5) Get on Facebook (if need be)
6) Be "Nogle" online as much as possible (change profile names and emails if ned be)
7) Put together a competative World Eater list (thinking drop marines, maybe black Templars)
8) Get something cool from FW
9) go to more tournaments (did about 6 last year)
10) make new super display board
11) Blog
12) Paint Dreadfleet

This was a great thread from last year for me, when I lost focus it helped to put things in perspective.
1) Paint the Wrath of Kings minis I acquired last year
2) Complete my 1k points of Tzeentch for the Adepticon Team Tournament
3) Put together a small Heresy Word Bearers force (750 points)
4) Attend Da Boyz
5) Attend Beef and Wing
6) Embrace the hobbysist/narrative portion of the game more fully
7) Get in at least 1 casual game a month
8) Finally make a display board
9) Paint my Bloodthirster

Well I'll give it a shot and I'll try my best to not let school get in the way too much.
1) Do more painting period
2) Post what I paint here
3) Pick up a FW knight of some sort, either for imperials or chaos
4) Do better than I did last year in all my tournaments.
5) Get into Beef and Wing, hopefully I'll get it before it sells out again
6) Teach my gf how to play 40k
7) Beat her in a painting competition
I'll stop there and try to keep it small.

I'm down with some hobby resolutions
1. Paint 1.5k- 1850 of raven guard 2. Get another unit of sicaraian infiltrators & skitarii vanguard fully painted 3. Build another display board 4. Build and convert the rest of my dark eldar 5. Finish painting my ad mech 6. Expand operation taurox storm.
After the amount of lobbying i accomplished last year I'm feeling pretty confidant.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed that specialist games is a reality!! that will definitely add a lot to my list of work to be done

Ok, well, here is what I'm putting on my plate for this year. Hopefully I get at least 60% done by the fall. Going to be a hard trek.
1) Start and finish my Alpha Legion core
2) Gather and paint one of each specialist unit from 30k for use in my Alpha Legion army
3) Finish my space clowns, space zombies, and space masochists
4) Build a display board for both of the aforementioned armies.
5) Toy around with Infinity (Unless BFG comes out soonish, then gather up my battlebarges)
The main focus for this year is finishing the harlies until my Legion FW order comes in.
I'm probably going to do a full shift to 30k for a bit. Really digging how 30k plays. The lack of ATSKNF makes it seems like moral matters to everything, with everything, not just space elf leadership bombs.

1.) Get a fully painted 1850 army for the tournament coming up this month.
2.) Grab myself one of those sweet, sweet FW Wraithknights.
3.) Figure out a way to convert that Wraithknight into a Bright Stallion.
4.) Decide on a 30k Legion and stick with it. Mechanicum is fun, but 30k players assume I'm ready to just roll everyone when I play it. Iron Warriors seems like the most fun, and Hazard Stripes look like a lot of fun to paint.

I am interested in more 30k as well, the models are cool and the rules feel a bit more wide open for cool weaponery. It also does not need to be balanced for me since the narrative/theme component is so strong (not saying it is or is not). Besides the point, who doesnt want to field a primarch...

eh, why not. It will be interesting to see how much I finish up by the end of the year. Hardly did anything hobby related in 2015 so let's hope for a better year.
1. Finish up my first Frost Grave warband (almost done) 2. Complete 2 more war bands 3. Paint up all associated beastiary minis 4. Complete my Frost Grave table 5. Attend more x-wing events outside of Rochester 6. Attend a X-wing regionals event 7. Play a real game of Epic format for x-wing 8. Play at least 5 games of Age of Sigmar (Nogle, hint hint) 9. Finish painting up my converted Helbrute 10. Work on new table for Da Boyz
I'll keep it at 10 for now and adjust as needed.

I'll jump on the bandwagon late!
1.) Finish this Mechanicus Tourney list thingumy before Adepticon with basing and display! 2.) Paint a fleet apiece of my Firestorm Armada and Dystopian Wars 3.) Muck about with X-wing, Warmahordes, whatever else comes along! 4.) Buy and paint a Warhound Titan. 5 and more.) Make a dent in my model backlog(far to much unpainted and unassembled nonsense!

loving all of this talk of 30k and age of sigmar (btw those fyreslayers look soooo sweet).
I take it that frostgrave is about same size as mordheim, so that can be a dual use table?

Correct, it's mordhiem "lite" where only the wizard and apprentice level up and matter. The rest of your party is strictly a meat shield. The game is played on a 3x3 board with tons of terrain. While I guess it can be played competitively, I like the narrative driven aspect of it where you can tell a story. Plus the creator has made it so you can easily create your own scenarios to fit whatever theme you want. But the biggest selling point to me is that you can use whatever models you want. My current warband is made up of a mixture of brettonian models and other bits while the wizard is from the GW wizard kit and the apprentice is a reaper mini. My next warband in the works are my lizard men army that I never got going. Really digging the game.
