So I was wondering if anyone on this board has any interest in fantasy? if so I was hoping to maybe get a category for its theory and discussion. I figured since crispy helps run crossroads and attends colonial he may be interested in getting this going?

Craig,
I hear what you are saying but I just don't know if there is enough of a following of people who do play fantasy in the area. Just about every local board that does have a fantasy section hasn't seen a posting in ages. Maybe if we can generate more interest in the game or get some of the players from outside of Rochester posting then we can reconsider at that point.

Erie is doing the same thing, trying to get fantasy going. We are going to start running Fantasy tournies, usually 1600 points to begin with every month to garner interest and get people playing again to see if we can get it to pick up. I've always been a fan of fantasy but it seems to be a regional game, I've been places where it was all fantasy and little 40k and vice versa. If you can get fantasy going up there I am sure I could talk some guys up for doing open gaming on a weekend at some point.

You don't know how tempted I am to start up a lizardman army. I've been wanting to do one since 6th edition and with each new edition the models just keep getting better and better.

In theory a separate board is a good idea, but I think keeping the boards smaller will be better until they get really bumping.
I say, throw it all into the mix. Announcements don't have to be fantasy or 40K specific, same with any of the other topics.
I think it'll be better if we keep the two systems together. It makes the boards more lively, and maybe we can get some cross pollination.

If you guys really want separate sub-foums LMK and I'll add them.
